Basic Options Plan - Performance Rules

The rules for a Basic Options Performance Account and how to qualify for a payout

Written by Tom

There's no profit target on a Performance Account. You can request a payout once you have at least $250 in profit and your consistency is below 30%.

Payout Eligibility

To request a payout, you need:

  • Consistency below 30%

  • At least $250 available to withdraw

You don't need to reach the Buffer before requesting a payout. The Buffer only changes how your loss limit works.

Payouts can be requested daily once you're eligible. Only one payout request is allowed per day across all your accounts.

Frequently Asked Questions

Does my consistency reset after a payout?

No. Consistency is based on your trades, not your withdrawals, so it carries forward across your full trade history.

Does my loss limit change after a payout?

No. Your loss limit never moves down, so a payout reduces the room between your equity and your loss limit. See Basic Options Plan - Buffer to work out how much you can safely withdraw.

Do I need a minimum number of trades?

No. The 10-trade minimum only applies to your Evaluation.

What is the Buffer?

The Buffer is the equity level where your loss limit stops trailing and locks permanently. It's 5.75% above your starting equity. It isn't a target you must hit. See Basic Options Plan - Buffer.
